About THE RUMJACKS Every man in Australian folk punk band THE RUMJACKS has done his time in mud and slime and torn up rooms and soggy carpets in all four corners of The Colonies. All 'Jacks' have served with honour and infamy in various rock bands, rockabilly outfits, Celtic ensembles and combinations thereof. There is no need here to dribble off the details, but their belts jangle with the beaded scalps and stolen trinkets of many a campaign. Energetic players since birth, The Rumjacks incorporate heartfelt Irish clout, hillbilly blood and wine-reeking gypsy lurching, among other things, into their all-original barroom punk rock heroics.
